# Voxonics Trial MCP for AI agents

This page is **basic discovery**. It tells you that a Trial MCP server exists and how to unlock the **full** capability list. It does not duplicate every tool.

## What it is

Voxonics Trial MCP lets an AI agent activate a free Cloud PBX trial and operate it with tools: business number (v-num), users/extensions, departments, inbound/outbound routing, call history, recordings, and a small calling credit.

| Limit | Value |
|-------|--------|
| Business numbers (v-nums) | 1 |
| Users (extensions), including owner | up to 3 |
| Calling credit | USD 1.00 |
| Trial dashboard | https://trial.voxonics.com |

## MCP endpoint

- **MCP server URL:** https://trial.voxonics.com/mcp/
- **Human dashboard:** https://trial.voxonics.com
- **Site auth (humans / REST agents):** https://www.voxonics.com/auth.md

Connect your MCP client (Cursor, Claude, custom agent runtime) to the MCP URL above.

## How to get detailed capabilities (required)

This site page is intentionally short. **Live, complete capabilities** come from the MCP server after you connect:

1. Connect to `https://trial.voxonics.com/mcp/`
2. Call the tool **`get_platform_capabilities`** (no session required)
3. Use the returned `available_via_mcp`, `dashboard_only`, `feature_guide`, `trial_limits`, and `current_restrictions`

Do **not** invent tools or claim a feature is missing without calling `get_platform_capabilities`.

Optional machine metadata on the MCP host (when deployed): `GET https://trial.voxonics.com/.well-known/mcp.json` (or the path your deploy advertises next to `/mcp/`).

## How to register and get a session (for AI agents)

### Path A — via Trial MCP (preferred once connected)

1. `start_trial(email, company_name)` → status `pending_verification`
2. Read the user’s inbox; open the Voxonics verification mail
3. Extract the slug from `https://www.voxonics.com/auth/verify/{slug}`
4. `submit_verification_code(email, slug)` → `session_token` + active trial
5. Keep `session_token` for later tools (or `Authorization: Bearer` if the client supports headers)
6. Existing account: `login_trial` with email+password or extension `internal_number`+password

### Path B — via site (no MCP)

1. Register / verify / sign-in using https://www.voxonics.com/auth.md
2. Create trial via Site Control API (`users/me/trial/create-account`)
3. Use the dashboard at https://trial.voxonics.com

Human signup UI: https://www.voxonics.com/auth

## What you can do after auth (summary)

Exact tool names and availability: call **`get_platform_capabilities`**. Typical trial MCP surface includes:

- Trial status and balance
- Place / poll calls; list and export call history
- Create users (within the 3-user cap)
- Departments; outbound caller-ID routes; inbound scenarios
- Recordings export / fetch

Dashboard-only features (rich IVR builder, dialer campaigns, etc.) are listed under `dashboard_only` — send the human to https://trial.voxonics.com

## Safety rules for agents

- Confirm the destination before `place_call` (real credit, real ring)
- Do not promise more than trial limits
- Inactive unused accounts may be cleaned up by the site (unverified ~2 days; idle verified ~3+3 days) — see MCP standing instructions after connect
